PORTFOLIO - ACCOMPLISHMENTS

During my professional career, I have had the opportunity to participate in the management of several world-class facilities. While advancing these clubs’ operations I have accomplished many goals and have had much success. A few of my key highlights are listed below. ACCOMPLISHMENTS

 

: : Delivered course conditions at The Country Club of Virginia that helped earn a state ranking as high

    as #8 by Golf Digest

 

: : Hosted and participated in preparing excellent course conditions for many major golf tournaments

    including 4 PGA events and 3 LPGA events at Kingsmill, the Golf Channel’s Big Break III at Kingsmill,

    and several Virginia State Golf Association tournaments at The Country Club of Virginia

 

: : Assisted in maintenance as Volunteer Staff for 2011 United States Open at Congressional Country Club

 

: : Returned the Plantation Course at Kingsmill to operational status one month after Hurricane Isabel

    devastated the course with over a hundred large diameter fallen trees, a two-week power outage, and

    facilitated direct management of loggers, tree climbers, and stump grinders

 

: : Gained course renovation and construction experience during copmlete Pete Dye renovation to the River   
    Course at Kingsmill Resort in 2004

 

: : Kingsmill Safety and Environmental Trainer for Golf Maintenance department which required

    yearly training of 60 plus people

 

: : Integral in working with Kingsmill to attain Certified status for the course with Audubon International in 2001

 

: : 2nd Place at Toastmasters District 66 Humorous Speech Contest 2009
